Great guns--though if you're new to handguns, I personally wouldn't recommend one as your first gun because they do not have a manual safety. I have a second generation 19, third generation 27, and fourth generation 17.....all great guns (and extremely accurate). They have had some issues with the fourth generation guns (Model 17 and 19)--specifically, feeding issues and brass kicking back at your face--enough problems that Glock has issued new recoil spring assemblies, ejectors, and extractors....make sure you get an updated gun (with updated part numbers). If you visit GlockTalk.com and do a search, you'll learn all about it......and more.
