I don't think I would go to the 300 Win Mag. I would make the jump to .338 Lapua and be done with it.

Yes: Correct. I currently have "2" Chandler sniper rifles, both in 308 Win. One is full-size (26" Hart barrel) and one is a 20" carbine. My name as well as my rifle is written up in the 4th edition of Col. Chandler's sniper books series. I've been shooting long range for a few decades. I also have a "Hill Country" in 30-06, which is my #1 "go-to" hunting rifle.


I didn't think anyone in my AO had a Chandler. I have had one for quite some time now. 20" fluted. Why in the heck did Chandler use you as subject matter, on what NOT to do?
