Hey need a little help with this knife I just got. Its a 14" Buffalo Skinner with an 8-1/4 blade from the G.C. Co. solingen Germany. stamped with #048. Looks to be bone handle with brass pins and guard.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

I have some source books on antique knives, so add a photo or two (or three) showing full length, showing tang stamp, etc.

Here is a Green River Buffalo Skinner that I put some walnut handles on.Next to it is a Becker 14 with the new orange scales.
