"Legal" aside, it's his knife until it's sold and he can do what he wants with it. Ebay doesn't really care -- as if they are going to ban him for 30 days and not let him sell? Think of the revenue they will lose, that's all THEY think about.

The seller emailed me and said he'd relist it, I was the high bidder at the time and he sent the email to get me to bid again when it's relisted.

Someone probably linked him to this thread and if so... he has all the free info he needs to get an even higher price. Way to go.
