Jack I believe this is a Johnson....in light of the fact that these knives shipped without sheaths we don't know when Col. Salvo obtained one and could easily have been after Heiser Sheaths were no longer available. I wish Joe would please give me his thoughts or Boblade, Ron Mathews. My money however, until proven wrong is on Johnson.
Since the seller has pulled it there could be several things happening. Somebody talked him into ending the auction and he sold it outright, or maybe he didn't know what it was worth and didn't place a reserve on it and wants to do that. Disconcerting at any rate.
