When I worked in the State Farm Insurance SIU program (Special Investigative Unit), I used a Model 15 to cut carpet samples and chop burned wood in order to get samples of an accelerant used to start a fire. I used it to gain access to appliances and many other uses.
In all of those days this knife held up to some amazing abuse. Look at the size of that hammer. It's the same one I used to bang on that 15.
When this photo was made I was actually using a hatchet but you can see the 15 just to my right stuck in the floor.
