Good afternoon, Steve and I are new to your forum,we are sure glad to hear that there is a forum about Ruana Knives. Steve has been using them for 50 years and has never found any knife better. For Steve they have proved there worth many times over, in many different situations in North America, and Jungles. The Junior Bowie is my first knife and I am proud to own such a beautiful crafted knife, it fights my hand as if it were made for my grip.

Below are some photos of our knives with some of our woods gear,the beadwork was done by us,it is what we do .
Mine is the model Junior Bowie 29a and Steve's is the 31b.
We are very glad that Vic, Mike and Mark are carrying on this tradition of superb craftsman's ship that Ruddy began.

Just out of curiosity, have you had a chance to visit the shop in Bonner?

We have never been to the shop, that is one of the few things we wish to do befor we 'give up the ghost'.
My husband used to converse with Rudy via the mail in the early 60's - 70's.

Just to let everyone know my new book "The Hammer Still Rings"
