Prototype Cattaraugus Swing Guard. This was one of many Bose knives sold at the Blade Show. Scales are antique Remington Bone.

That is a beautiful knife! I had a swing guard, by Case I think,
way back when I was in the Navy, I could grip the blade and
flick the handle back to bring the knife open and then I would
throw the knife with pretty good accuracy, not that I'd ever
do that with one of this caliper!
