Guilty as charged!

My EDC Mon-Fri is a utilitarian Spyderco Delica. On weekends I dress up with a Case slip-joint or other small folder. And on special occasions or when I feel the need for a good luck charm, I like to carry a special knife like a vintage Case or a pocketknife that belonged to my grandfather (and his were all inexpensive working knives).

None of these folders cost more than a hundred dollars, and most of them were closer to half that much. But that's part of the charm. When I want to reward myself without spending much money I pore over a Smokey Mountain Knifeworks catalog and order a new pocketknife. Getting a new knife in the mail, even a mass-produced one, is always fun.

I really like that Gerber with micarta scales. I've never seen one of those. Please do post a photo of the maroon one. I just did a quick search for one (they are discontinued?) and only found this one on Ebay. Is this the same model?
