Obviously meditating and has been hanging out with the buddahdude.
I'd say working for the highway dept. but he's not leaning on a shovel.

Kinda' explains the "long" wait for his sheaths though...doesn't it?

I got a call from Danny last Monday (I think), letting me know that my black high-ride #28 sheath was ready, and that it was time to send in my knife so that "RANDALL MADE" snaps could be installed. I am looking forward to getting the sheath. (I also ordered a replacement #23 sheath with no hone pocket and a diagonal keeper strap, which is also ready, and for which I also sent in a #23.)

Ken,
I like diagonal keepers as well. On my #23 user I prefer "no pocket hone" and diagonal keeper. It is just easier to deal with. Glad to see you posting again. I figured you were out killin' something.
Best, Capt. Chris

I heard from Danny last week, too, re:
"some sheathes are ready", and sent a couple of knives their way. USPS said that they arrived safely so maybe I can post a couple of pics upon arrival. Although I haven't had much luck lately. I took 7 pics today of ancient saltwater knives and lures and newer knives and lures (for another thread) and somehow couldn't post them and erased them.....went for dusk scouting walk in the woods thinking about killing something.

Can't grill it if you don"t kill it.

The black #28 Hi-Ride sheath is here (along with the #23 replacement sheath that I ordered at about the same time). It turned out great, but then again, that is to be expected. The Hi-Ride would make a great standard sheath for the #28.
