You have me at a loss, Graham. I made no such claim of originality. I simply started a thread, and that is all. My ego is not such that I consider it to be my property, in terms of the idea nor the thread itself.
These are my own words, so let's study them a bit:
So far, so good. I stated that I started a thread in mid-March.
The creative part, well, comes from one's own creativity.
Could this be the misunderstanding? The use of "creative" here refers to the second criteria for judging photos for previous EDO Photo Contests. In other words, it was not in reference to forum threads.
What I meant to convey is that while photography has some technical aspects, in terms of aperture, lighting, and exposure, there is also a creative element, specifically relating to composition and related factors.
I should also point out that I am more than willing to help anyone on the forum with regard to photography.
Hopefully no one took offense to my willingness to help.
