Good article Tony. Thanks for sharing. 2 years ago at the Blade Show my wife wanted new kitchen knives. We examined every kitchen knife there I think. In the end she decided on a set of Italian kitchen knives which are her pride and joy. Great quality and craftmanship. Oh yeah, they have olivewood handles.

Very interesting Tony. I remeber knife sharpeners coming around to the apartment building in which I was growning up in the Bronx. Looking at the time line in the story it was not the owner's Grandfather or father, but the story still brought back some nice memories.
