I have an order through Sullivans that will come up in a few months and I am trying to make some final decisions about what to order. I will be ordering a custom sheath for the knife, and I really want a waxed high ride sheath with a stone pocket.

My question is in regards to the model 28. I am wondering if a hone pocket sheath would be too bulky for the model 28. I know the model 28 comes with a no-hone sheath and I suspect it is for that very reason.

What are your thoughts? Would a hone pocket sheath be too much for the model 28?
