I really got into the Bond derringers about 10 years ago.
I had 3 different models with multiple barrels for each.
I recently shot them at the range and found my grip is not what it used to be.
The kick kept cutting my finger where the trigger guard recoil hit it.
I sold the derringers, extra barrels, and a bunch of accessories to a very ready and willing buyer. He loves them and bought more models.
I found that I like the flat bottom trigger guards now that are found on semi autos.

Sorry to hear that the Bond derringers did not work out for you later on.

Some folks found that using the extended grips helped eliminate that problem

My Texas Defender is pretty much with me 24/7.

Touch of a 3 inch 410 in that and you know the bull pooped in the buckwheat!!!!

I see that recently there is not too much activity on this forum.

Hopefully it is because folks are now outside recreating.

Anyone here use Ruger LCPs?? I have one of the first 380s and later one,when they became available the LCP II in 22lr.

I have had a LCP and LCP II in the past.
The LCP II was a Red Dragon with red slide and silver dragons.
I migrated to the LC9

Wow! That is super nice.

I prefer the original modle. A little snappy on the recoil but it is not a plinker.

For that,I have an LCP II/22lr. When I first got it,it was very ammo finicky but now I guess after I got it broken in,sems to digest most everything.

The Red Dragon was more flashy, and it appealed to the younger shooters.
I was an early buyer of the Walther P22 with Gemtech Outback Suppressor. It took some testing to find ammo that it liked.
Ended up using CCI Mini Mags and everything worked as it should.

I had one of the first Walther P-22s and it was very ammo finnicky.

I later put a TAC-65 suppressor on it and it even functioned with standard velocity ammo.

Now,in my state, Any threaded bbl pistol is considered an assault weapon and is pretty much a big no-no.

If you had on before the registration deadline fine but it could not be sold or ever transferred.

I would love to get a Ruger LCP threaded bbl for my LCP II but that can no longer be done here.

Colorado went a different route with their laws.
August 1 you have to take a 16 hour course with a State approved instructor, then, you get a permit to buy a semi-auto firearm.
Then, the State published a 100-page list of banned firearms, which include almost any semi-auto.
When it goes into effect, a law suit will be filed.
A judge ruled that no one had standing to file a suit until the law goes into effect and actually harms someone.
Makes you wonder why trust in the government is at an all-time low.

Makes you wonder why live in Colorado if you are a gun owner but if you are into marijuana that's a different story!!!!!

Family and the ability to do outdoor activities in the summer months makes for a pretty good draw.
