Thanks Captain, I always get those confused. Still, beautiful handle material and I think I couldn't even afford to drool over them. Maybe one of these days when I when the lotto, until then I'll just have to fondle my ivory handles grin

I finally had time to take some pictures.
Here are the Randall knives that came home with me from the Blade Show, I will post in Knife of the Week too. I also had some come in right before the show, and a few are coming shortly too.
Top is Model 1 7 inch custom ironwood, model 22 handle, ss, brass and black spacers
Second is a standard Model 22.
Third is a very nice stag handled, Model 8 4 inch new style.
Fourth is a small Gambler with Leopard Lace wood and domed butt cap
And last and not least is a Tri-Athlete with custom musk ox scales and mosaic pins by Gene Beal.

I had a good time indeed

Peter,
Nice stash..."BUT"...(There's that word again)...That Model #22 doesn't look "quite" standard as I believe I see a very appropriate upgrade to aluminum and black spacers??? Nice touch and well worth the extra 10 bucks!
Best, Capt. Chris

Peter,

Beautiful set of knives. I can't recall seeing a Model #1 with the Model #22 Handle. I think it looks really cool. smile

Thanks for the comments guys.
I can't recommend going to the Blade Show enough. Lots of really cool knives and accessories and everyone was extremely nice and friendly. All of those knives and no one got into trouble.

Peter,

You are the cat's meow! My appreciation for transporting me to the show and seeing the the band of happy 'reprobates' is ineffable.

Seriously, with today's Macintosh [ ahem, Tom! smile ] could we not enter the 21st century and have an RKS members' hook up in real time so that those of us who avoid traveling, [ having used up our nine-lives in our previous incarnation when we were forced to use the unnatural mode of transportation --- metal tubes, flying in the sky??] and refuse to be molested by TSA troglodytes ... exceptions could be made if nubile young starlets interned at the post.

Then we could in real time yell "Captain, I want THAT Randall, send it to me!", or "Rhett, come on, that #1 -8" WW II, really belongs in my collection, so what is the discount for an RKS member ... OK, you abhor members from the Northeast, but that aside, what is your best price? "

The above is said only partially in jest. You would be opening up your customer base and your base RKS buddies would be grateful.

Now the overwhelming image of Steve Peters showing up with a flat bed transporting his Randalls-for-Sale is breathtaking. [Love ya', Steve. smile ]

Again, Peter, thank you.

That's funny that you mention this collection, Rick Ward got Dave interested in these by telling him that they were "fish antlers" grin Great collection! You & Silverknife ought to set up a big display at Blade next year!

See ya, Chief
