Here's a scan of Randall's newest handle material. The new ivorite is a phenolic resin composite that is also used for cue balls and counter tops. It's harder than alternate ivory and takes a high polish. I'll have a piece shortly to see if it's suitable for scrimshaw. I may have a better image to post soon.
