Kevin…I’m going to be the way I am. Sorry if you don’t like it. I don’t know what manners has to do with it…

The reason why I put the “I think” in was that I wasn’t there when the shield was put in and I was wrong. It just looks like it was

I don’t mind being corrected if I am wrong. If that’s the way he put the shield in that’s fine…

You are missing my point….and it doesn’t sound like you are ever going to get it

"I guess the days of the hand cut shields are over?" This was in your first post........The words "I Think" are no where in the post!

He's right Kevin about manners having nothing to do with it. I think a better word would be Disrespectful.

Friends,

A few thoughts.

1. What a Great knife, and someone will have a great time using it!--Just Beautiful!

2. That shield on it sure looked Fine to me!

3. Why does "The Old Dog" have to defend his knife? I didn't hear the Buyer complaining!

4. Was out of state on Company business, and found out how screwed up parts of Detroit really is. Can you say..Depressed? (The mayor got thrown in jail, yesterday morn)

5. And last but not least, if Any of you are not totally happy with your Bose, You just send them to me, and I will take very good care of them!

Kent

I meant no disrespect to anyone….I am sorry that everyone took my comments so personal … I wish I had not made them.

During the past years I have gotten a bit picky about the little things on pocketknives and have always expressed myself. I have looked, studied over, every aspect of each pattern and know what I like and what I don’t. What I said about the shield was my opinion and was wrong for me to express it the way I did.

Every Bose knife made is a work of art, we all know that, we would not be on the forums or want the knives if we didn’t. I would not have collected them for 15 years nor would I be a moderator if I didn’t feel so strong about them.

This is my hobby and the guys on these forums make it what it is.
Please accept my apology

Well here is my Sunday "Go to Meetin Knife". Pretty fancy for a country boy, huh?

Now to the John incident. I just talked to him by phone and I am not taking sides here. John has the greatest respect for Tony's work but the comment he made was wrong.

Tony, corrected him and that should be enough said. I know this offended many of you. If anyone said anything about Tony to me I would probably get whipped before I could get my gun out. Too old to fight here.

So enjoy this Forum as you are doing a lot of good here.

Best regards,

Rhett Stidham

Kevin, this is for you. I shot three deer earlier today, and all were dressed with the fixed blade knife by Reese and with the knife in the picture, the one just like yours. I only wish we could sit around and eat some of this stuff together. Please open attachment.

Thanks Juan.
That's a beautiful knife and it's great to see it in action.
