Don’t have dates…but this was re-hafted by T Bose. (maybe as a young adult)
If I remember the story right this cow bone was picked up at a local butcher shop and he did the rest.

This Case knife was made in 1981 and that's when I did this. I wanted a bone handled FH and they didn't offer one so I went to the butcher shop, got a shin bone, and ground away everything that didn't look like it belonged on a FH. I carried it for a good while.

Cool picture and story.

This is a Henckels trapper where Tony modified the spey blade. I bet those blades have seen the insides of many a critter. Both are still very sharp.
