Hi. I just learned of this website and I'm very glad to have found it. I don't want to take too much of your time so I'll cut it short.

I've lived much of my life in the tropics where I've hunted and fished almost right after I could walk, and I've spent much of that time outdoors on farms and in the jungle. Knives have been a part of me forever.

However, some years ago a good friend and knifemaker, Bill Keeton, told me to contact his friend Tony Bose when I asked Bill to make a folding knife for me. Bill had already provided me with a bunch of hunting knives. I had also bought a slew of Randall knives and others throughout the years. Following Bill's advice I contacted Mr. Bose and asked him to build a pocket knife for me. After I received that first knife from Mr. Bose I was spoiled forever. I stepped down from the mule to ride a Rolls Royce. Mr. Bose's knives are like no other, they are several steps above any other folding knife I have ever used. And Mr. Bose is some hell of a nice man.

I'm proud to be able to post here, and I congratulate all of you lucky dudes who own a Bose Knife. Godspeed to all.

Welcome to the cult. You hit several nails on the head. The knives by Tony and Reese are the best in my opinion and Tony is a great guy to talk to about how knives are made and their history.

Hey JM1,

Welcome aboard! What do you mean...Mr. Bose makes great knives?? I call him, and we just talk sports and other cool things! Really, Reese and Tony are very talented! I look at other "slippies", but they pale in comparison! And..many of us like Randalls too!

So, If you have too many Bose slippies, you just PM me, and we'll work something out!

Kent

Thank you so much for the kind welcome. As a matter of fact, I thought I'd find here plenty of Wilfred Works children looking for a nice home. After all, you have enough with one; I'm willing to adopt the others you may have. Just check the happy trapper having fun among tropical fruit on the Photo Gallery.
