For that I use an Apple TV....works really well for me.
I can store tons of pics, music, movies....including home movies cuz it has a 160GB drive...which is enough right now. Does great slideshows.

You can load it wifi and sounds great...and in the next few weeks...rent HD movies!
Drawbacks....you have to have a HD TV...but knowing you Raid thats not going to be an issue....oh and it gets a little warm.
