RAN Knife Enthusiast Registered: 12/30/06 Posts: 272	I have knives with Both steels Id call D2 semi stainless and pretty darn tough Id Call 440V stainless, tough and agressive Id say D2 is a tad easier to sharpen on a stone..that 440V is hard! but with those new ultra fine diamond stones not much harder to maintain both are workhorses _________________________ Regards Riad Nasr
