Just finished this the other day and have been carrying ever since,

The Stag is 100 years old and came from Rhett. I was thinking that the stag was from either Northfield or Napanoch Knife Companies from the old days, outstanding Amber color you just can’t find these days.

Blade is CPM-440V, watch out folks it will hurt you.
I have already dropped it in my shop on concrete, Made to be carried and used.

Yeah, but I don't have to wait 5 years to replace my cell phone.

I have knives with Both steels

Id call D2 semi stainless and pretty darn tough
Id Call 440V stainless, tough and agressive

Id say D2 is a tad easier to sharpen on a stone..that 440V is hard!
but with those new ultra fine diamond stones not much harder to maintain

both are workhorses

My favorite BP..and probably one of my favorite T.Bose. Tony had to pull it out of my hands after he let me check it out.
