Both knives were made very close together and only a handful are made with a long Swedge that I know of.

Here is when the knife was new in March of 2003...(notice the leather looks new)

Most of the BackPocket knives you will see have a shorter cut swedge at the point of the spine down to the tip. Here is a comparison to show you the difference side by side.
