Would love to have a mint original to compare. the top and bottom are Cocobolo and the middle one in Brazilian RoseWood.

Extraordinary knives - thank you for posting them!

I own a 1991 R1178 which is with staglon scales - nothing to compare with a Bose (reproduction)knife. But it is quite well made - clean production, strong springs (deep "Clack")and classic clip and spey blade. I wonder, if there is also the same clip blade on the woodden R1128.

What does a knife like the ones shared by you cost - is it the same price range as the other patterns by Wilfred Works?

The above knife costs about $950 from Wilfred Works these days. Attached is the different size of the R-1123/R-1128(4 ½”) to the R-1173(3 ½”).

These two knives are amberStag and as you can see the R-1123/R-1128 has a drop point blade and the R-1173 has a clip blade. Hope this helps.

I especially like the huge R-1123 with the droppoint-blade!
