P-U-R-D-Y is the technical term. I've never seen pearl with that many bubbles. That congress rocks with all of those swedges.

I dont know John what the effect is called...but I really like it. I have always referred to it as "clouds" and that knife was a storm!

Yes! Please! Can never have enough Rodgers whittlers.

BTW, have the Bose boys ever made any "Norfolk" pattern whittlers? I'm referring to ones like the Remington Norfolk whittlers. Those are actually copies of another of Joseph Rodgers' whittler patterns (fancy bolsters and all) - thus the "Norfolk" name (from Number 6 Norfolk Street, Sheffield) -- though Rodgers never called them that.

[Actually, Joseph Rodgers called a completely different pattern "Norfolk Knives" (and many of these were whittlers) - there's a thread here containing info about these if you want to look - totally sweet. Tony said he hadn't made one of these (yet).]
