That's quite true John. It's the stories that go along with the knives that oftentimes make them more cherished.

There's a funny story that Tony told me and then Freddie told me again when I took his knives back last night. Tony and Freddie went to a Case event hosted by the Smokey Mountain Knife Works one year. People often bring something for Tony to autograph but this one time someone walked up to Freddie and handed him(not Tony)something to be signed. Freddie said he looked at Tony like, "What do I do?". Tony motioned or said something to the effect, "Go ahead and sign it" and he did. So somewhere somebody has an offically Freddie autographed whatsit that will be handed down from generation to generation.
