Here is Tony's first muskrat, almost 3 7/8" with D-2 blades, dual springs, half stops, and long pulls from the mid 80's.

It is 3 1/4" with D-2 blade and spring, long pull, dovetailed bolsters, and cattle bone handle. Tony used to get raw cattle bone from a place down the road in Hymera. He'd boil and process the bone himself and, judging from the way this bone held up, he did a real nice job with it. From the early '80s. Check out all those pins!

and Freddie said, "I'll take it" when this one came back home. This one was made in the late '80s. It's a half trapper and has ATS-34 blades and springs. The bolster has what we call a "Cattaraugus Flute"(basically it is straight, doesn't follow bolster radius) Long nail pull on the blade.
