This past Wednesday evening, Tony and I visited with an old friend from his construction work days. As it turns out, Freddie is also a character that used to frequent my family's owned and operated service station when I was a kid in the 60's and early 70's. Little did I know then that our paths would one day meet again in our mutual friendship with Tony. Freddie has been collecting Bose knives since Reese was in high school, which is where Tony introduced himself to Freddie. Freddie's wife was one of Reese's teachers.

Have you heard about the first knife Tony made. It was made in 1972 from a industrial hacksaw blade, black walnut handle carved with a knife, aluminum guard, and a sheath made from parts of an old saddle. The knife is about 9" OAL.





Here is an unusual droppoint hunter and sheath made around '77-'78. The blade is O1, brass bolsters/pins/thong tube, and black linen Micarta.
