Tony's favorite pattern is the trapper. He decided one day that the spey blade wasn't that useful for what used a knife for(mostly cleaning squirrels at the time) so he ground it down into a Wharncliffe blade and the Wharncliffe trapper was born.

This one sports some awesome looking stag, ATS-34 blades and springs, and the typical Bose fit and finish in stainless liners, bolsters, and shield.

The new owner should put that one to work. Great pattern that’s often imitated, but the Bose fellers do it best.

If I wanted to get that knife with an Ivory handle... how much would I pay... and would I even be able to get Mr. Bose to make one?

I hate to keep a feller hangin so here are a few thoughts about that. Many many many people have the desire to get ONE of Tony's knives so there is one heck of a back log. Keep your eyes and ears open and the search engines hot and you might be able to find one that becomes available. Stay hooked up here and other knife forums and you might get lucky.

Although the saddle horn is my favorite, that's certainly one of the nicest ones I've seen.
