It was neat to see Gil award the Red Watson Award to a very deserving Gentleman, Tony Bose.
I had a similar response from a knifemaker a number of years ago and it was very disappointing. Fortunately that is the only maker who ever said, "That is a "trade secret""
and meant it....

To me, that's what makes knife makers in general great. They are always willing to tell you how they do what they do and take the time to show you personally. To me, there's always room for another knife maker and judging by Tony and Reese's waiting list probably more like 10-20 more slipjoint knife makers are needed!

Congrats,
-Troy

Any award given to Tony or Reese is well deserved. Great folks and great knives. My dad and I always enjoy talking and looking at the Bose table when we attend Bladeshow.

Congrats Tony.
