This is Tony's latest EDBPC! I heard that someone(I won't say who but he knows who he is ) asked Tony why he didn't make the end of the spring flush with the tang and bolster at closed position. For one, if you attempt that and miss it, you will find yourself starting over on the knife, wasting about 2+ days of work plus material. But, if you hit it, it ends up looking like this.

Here's the rest of the knife. This is the best BP I have seen to date and is perfect in every way. The blade and spring is CPM-440v.

That's a beauty, Kerry. I'm startin' to think that fella and his son can make a knife!

Seriously though, they do kind of ruin ya for just about anybody else's work except for a few very exceptional makers. (I've even taken my name off of a couple of makers lists as a result, though I did make one notable exception where I actually added it. )

WOW What a piece! I agree there is only a handful of makers capable of this quality of work. Terry Davis, Shadley. and Richard Rodgers comes to mind. But Bose has the exceptional ability for design and that IMHO makes him the best! Just my 2 cents.

There are only two makers that can perform this magic in my opinion..

That is "The Old Dog" and "Buckskin" !!!!!

No one else compares...

Hi Bob...What Im saying is comparison of art is subjective...fit and finish can be judged, and there is exceptional talent by a handful of makers...what sets Bose apart is design and innovation...same thing that sets Loveless apart..OK Ill get off my soapbox...
