Depends on how far out he is on CW orders. If it's 1.5yrs or more, "hope not."

There is no way to include my CW in a $600 build. The cost of the handle material, to include having it cut to size and the shop's charge of $100 to install it...&...no warranty, just it makes it un-approachable, given our $600 goal.
Hope this helps,
Capt. Chris

Everyone isn't as crazy about model 10's as I am.we could do a 10-5 with shop supplied handle material other that standard on 10's and
meet the dollar amount that Captain has determined.

Billy;
Even "with" CW, you'd be well under the $600 ceiling for this build...with no "Soul".

Model 9 with special etched? (joke)

Seems that in order to have few additional options, we need to go below 500? I did a quick calculation of several small models, most likely I missed something, here can use 1 or 2 or even 3 options here smile

#GRT - 480 (+120 left)
#Denmark - 470 (+130 left)
#2-4 - 470 (+130 left)
#5-4 - 470 (+130 left)
#7 - 465 (+135 left)
#8-4 old style - 470 (+130 left)
#11-3 - 450 (+150 left)
#26 - 470 (+130 left)

Trout fishing and Pheasant hunting are popular here in Colorado.
All the knives listed by desert.snake with maybe the exception of the Model 2 would be great for these activities.
I could campaign for the Model 2-4, just because I like the looks of it.
Does this help to direct a decision?

I like a 8-4 old style. The 10 is always good to me.
