That Model 8 is the old style or the newer style? I have had the old style model 8 for many years.

I just returned from my annual trip to my cabin up in Maine on the Canadian border.
A 638 lb black bear was harvested (not by me) and I think it may be a state record.

It is a newer style Model 8. I don't have many RMK that are not Model 5's. I picked the one, of my non 5's, that would be best for elk, and gave it to him.
Hopefully I will get some pics, if he is successful.
