I can't speak for the folding Hunter, since I don't have one. But their Sodbuster turned out to be quite durable, although at first glance it seemed very light and flimsy. On the other hand, it was not used as crowbar; it was simply used to cut through dense materials - rubber hoses for watering 3/4 inch, and then they sharpened pegs for tying up tomatoes
