Interesting Randall 14 I picked up at an estate sale this past Sunday. Looks to be a "transition" 1972-73ish when RMK just discontinued the rivets in the sheaths and just started using the Norton stones, but before they started with the thong hole liners.
Story I got was that it was carried in Vietnam toward the end of the war and the owner wrapped the guard in tape to prevent reflections from the brass (the snaps also have tape residue on them). The tape was never removed.

Nice! I found a 12-9 14 grind at an estate once and snatched it up quick!
