I saw a message a few months ago that Dale Dorris is happily retired and quit making the Randall displays. Here is a 3-knife display that Tom Clinton had made some time before he passed away. I have owned 2 or 3. He had them made up with slots for 2 knives and 3 knives. The door insert is glass with Randall Made Knives etched. The wood trim on the bottom also has Randall Made Knives in Gold Lettering. Maybe find one at Blade Show?

David, this is magnificent display!
Capt. Chris, I looked, there's a good selection. Do you mean designs like these?
"Gun Display Case" this phrase works well, even better than "knives," since apparently small displays for folding knives have become fashionable. And I have a suspicion that most of the pictures were made with the help of AI
I don't have my own display yet, but when I do, I'll definitely show it off

For actual knife storage. A number of years ago, my wife said she wanted me to put the knives in a safe. A nice winter project making some drawers for the safe. Z, my wife, lined the drawers with felt.

Y'all are awesome.
Capt. Chris posted this Q for me. For good reasons I mostly keep my online presence low, so I'm a longtime lurker here but I just joined. Too good not to.
I have 8 identical 13X17 folding knife wall displays (~50 bucks apiece) that work great. I can't find similar for bigger knifes. Seeking the middle ground between current Hayst and future Spark--2 method, above.
Spark42 can you share how the knives are mounted? (I recently made a display of antique cutlery for my cousin, where the knifes and forks are standing on a ledger board and held by neomydium magnets. That won't do for Randalls.)
I do like "bladesNbarrels" display box very much, but it would take a lotta slots for all my fixed blades, and I'm looking for rearrangement flexibility.
I'm trying to figger out how to post pictures but not readily apparent. If I can, I'll post one showing 3 of these ~$50 boxes, and one showing another of them with the glass open, and still another that's the only one holding (a few quite undistinguished but treasured) fixed blade knives from my past.
Beneath that box (when/if I can post pic) is a display I made for my also-treasured S&W M17/K22 "3T". finally is a display of my own Model '94 (like desert.snake's) topped with the tiny 4 point rack of my first whitetail, taken on my 13th birthday in 1968. Both are lined with the hide of that deer, and both are made from a walnut tree that fell on our family farm.
Anyhoo, I can build my own display, and I have a buddy with great CNC skills who can etch the glass. I don't "do" plans so I needed something in mind before I start. A big "however" is that I'm also running out of lifespan and hoping to just buy something suitable, which may not be in the cards.
Fingers crossed I can figure out how to post these few pix. I coulda waited to post, but I wanted to say thanks for the effort so far.
I tried the file upload tool but it doesn't like my file sizes and wont take a direct paste.
Anyway, thanks very much for the info and keep it coming! I'll return the favor when I hit a topic on which my input might be useful.
You got bit by the bad '/bad " bug.
