I just wrapped up (actually 17 days ago) my 2025-26-hunting season. So...What can I do? I can "morn" or I can start a project, with something to look forward to for "Next Season"! How about a RMK hunting knife?
If you're interested...please respond. If we get enough folks (members) involved we could put together a Dandy!
What say U?
Best,
Capt. Chris

Yep
A model 20-25-27 with different handle material and other options
would be a great build IMO.

There are countless choices at your disposal. I hunt a good bit (Been a member of the same hunting club for over 40 years) and have used many..many combinations of knife models, blade material, hilt-n-handles, etc. etc. I have a couple that are my favorites and a good many folks here already know about them.
"My" preference for an "actual" user would not be ironwood for the handle material due to the fact that is gets slippery when you're up to your wrists in blood. I like materials that are easy to wash up with hot soap and water. etc....just sayin'
Stay Sharp,
Capt. Chris
