Got 2, quite long, texts from Gail. One from last night and one from 6:00 am this morning. No real good news in either. Scott "does" have a UTI! Drs., nurses, Gail "&" Scott squabbles going on as nobody seems to have the same opinion on treatment. Gail got mad and went home for the night...slept (as she says) a "coma" sleep.
She was back @ 6:00 am and that's when she texted the 2nd text. No word yet on how to proceed for certain.
I'll keep you posted but that's one troubled family at this juncture.
Capt. Chris

Scott had a better day yesterday. His pain levels and nausea has lessened, thanks goodness. He is being administered anti-biotics for the infection & it is working!
He sat in a chair, had a small walk and a shower. All good signs. He is not eating well but drinking Ensure.
They placed the "wound-vac" ,to help with drainage from the wound area, and eliminate the need for more wound dressings.
Doctors want him to remain in the hospital until Tuesday week. That way they can remove the stents.
When I know more....you'll know more.
Thanks for your continued support.
Capt. Chris
PS: As I'm typing this, I am 2 hours, post-colonoscopy surgery, so go easy on the Ol' Captain...

Better news for Scott, may the good news continue.

Capt hope you get good news as well. I once had a endoscopy and colonoscopy on the same day. I was insistent on the endoscopy first!!
