I am going to order a custom Zulu bladed pocket knife. I can get almost any length I want, but am undecided between a 4" and smaller 3 1/2" (ish) blade.
I would appreciate anyone's opinion if you have or used a Zulu pocket knife.

This is too complicated a question crazy
Unfortunately I don't have a Zulu. But the Zulu is very similar to the standard Victorinox Alox blade. I like the standard blade size of 70mm, my friend would like one closer to 4, but they don't make them like that. Another friend of mine would like to have a 3.5 blade, but he lives in England where blades longer than 3 inches can be confiscated by the police

Reese made mine...Love it! It's about 4 inches long.

Desert Snake and Capt.
Thank you both for your replies. Because I am going to have it made, I can have the blade length I want.
I have a hard time deciding what I want for breakfast, so blade length will be a BIG decision.

Yeah, Peter is right, and can to add 3.75 here))

3.5
3.75
4

Is this the blade length? Usually manufacturers and collectors only indicate the handle length. I ordered a Linder a long time ago, but 2.75 inches turned out to be the handle length, not the blade, I was surprised then, but the knife is still good

Thank you Capt. Great looking knife, but that is to be expected from that talented man.

For somebody who is ignorant (in many ways), could you explain Zulu blades as opposed to...what?

The images look to be what are called drop points, as opposed to clip points and ??? maybe spear points?

More in between a "spear point" and a true drop point with the false edge slightly sweeping up at the tip.
Best,
Capt. Chris
