The Blade Show is approaching and stuff needs to be done! 1st off: From the aspect of the RKCC-RKCA, I need to know whom is displaying their fabulous collections in our recently-aquired private room #114.
I'll list some of the collectors who have taken part if the past...that I'm "pretty- sure" are coming back. Let's see what we have and then...see what we're going to have.

....Unfortunately, Ken Lambert and Scott Maynard are "not" displaying this year...(& I ain't sure about Aaron either). I believe we will have room for (about) 10, 8 foot tables. I will set up if we are not full.
So..."WHO" wants in? You have to be a member, in good standing, of the RKCC. Your bonus, besides having a good place to sit your ass down, when needed, is early entrance RKCC "Club Badges" and a gift certificate for a hundred bucks from The 'Ol Captain!
I am also going have a comment/survey form for the public to comment on our (your) displays. Free coffee and, of course, the #1 perk...the fellowship!

Good news members,
I was down at the shop yesterday...and Daniel Maynard has agreed to set up at The Blade Show! He, along with his lovely wife, Oriana and their newest latest and greatest family addition, Hannah Quinn Maynard...(She goes by Hannah) will be there! Daniel had pause, do to Hannah just turning (1) before the show. I assured them that all the RKCC women would LOVE the opportunity to gaggle over that baby!
Let's all make them feel right a home!

OK everyone,
I just received confirmation from Alicia and all my badge requests have been received and are a "GO"! So: If you are one of my "booth people" or a RKCC table displayer...you're covered!
This has been the most stressful (as well as expensive) blade show...to date! Now: Perhaps we can put some of this beside and behind us and have a friggin' good time!!

Wish you all an awesome Blade Show! This will be my first miss in at least ten years. A dear friends Daughter's wedding is that weekend. I hope to see you all next year.

Cannot wait to see Hannah making her first Blade Show!! I'm sad that Billy and Tom are not making it this year, but sometimes you just can't do it all.
We had a a little bit of a hiccup at the Mabry Compound. Wally had another detached retina, making it the 4th one. He had to have surgery Wednesday and pretty much only has one eye at the moment. He is pretty much shut down and doiing what the doctors say. We may be at the tables in shifts depending on how he feels. He won't be 100 percent but hopefully he feels better. The doctor said he could go. So that's where we are at.

Heal fast and drive safely.
It will be good to see you at Blade.
