I have a 28 Woodsman in green micarta/brass. Its the one I grab when I am going anywhere outside. The combo of 3/16 stainless, lighter weight, durable micarta, and wrist thong make for a hard to beat knife for the outdoors.

I like the 5-1/2" blade length as it is easy to carry, even when seated in a vehicle or in a kayak. I have tried the various grip styles that are available for the Model 15's and the single finger grip fits my hand the best.

Got bit by the ' issue again.

I was wondering what was going on with my post, so I had given up on it.

Thanks for helping me out Rob!

This Nr. 15 would be my "one" Randall. It will do everything I would reasonably ask from a knife.
And pretty too.

Walnut burl Border Patrol handle, Nickel silver guard and butt cap. Waxed sheath.

Very attractive 15CDT.

Some ironwood is too plain, but yours is really nice.

Yes, I agree Larry, but this is Walnut burl. It doesn't darken with age, as Ironwood does.

Well, heck!

I coulda, shoulda read your post more carefully.

I still like it! Beautiful wood.

I tend to like ironwood, so when I saw your knife, it jumped right to the front of my mind.
