Which would you choose...and why? Photos give you extra credit. (Not really). Let's share our thoughts.
Thanks,
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris
PS: Not just "camping"..."hunting"...etc., etc...
Example:
RMK Model #27-5 3/4" below.

Model 5-5" with the Bradford Angier options, in carbon steel. Been there and used mine since 1975

I don't even know, it's a very difficult choice

Bradford Angier and Trailblazer magnificent!

For me it's more like this - #12-6 Stainless WT Stag Compass FG

something like this, here in the photo there is a lack of WT and SS

Pappy's choice is 100% perfect for what Brad used it for. He also "camped & Trailed" in the N.W. and Yukon territories..."not" the S.E in it's 100% humidity!
Look: This thread is more information...&..."TRAFFIC"! Let's "all" voice an opinion. The TB that I posted was simply a "start-up" for this thread. Although it would make a pretty damned good multi-purpose "user"...there are equally as many "others" for a variety of chores.
Bradford Angier's Model #5, with a 6 inch blade will "do" a helluva' lot. Let's show "more" do-all RMKs.
Example below: #12-6", Little Bear Bowie...
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

Here (below) is my "Brad", specs exactly the same as the original: Bradford Angier, Camp & Trail.
Stay tuned for more-to-come from everyone,
Capt. Chris

Re-post and image of a Model 28. It is a good all-around knife.

I have a few that I like.
My Sergeants model is about perfect. SS, green micarta, and compass. I use it for trout fishing, camping, and all duck season.
Another is my model 4 6 inch standard. I carried this knife all field season. It does everything I need it to do during the season.
And if you want a big knife. My model 14 standard does the job. I will be carrying it again during this up coming bear season.
