Will forum readers please share their thoughts on older bose knives compared to newer. And the premium put on desirable Reese and Tony models. Or the desirability of numbered and protos. Topics for those who have gone past chapter one.

From what I can tell in my very limited experience, it appears that they are all desirable in one manner or another to almost any knife collector.

Well, I was waiting for a different opinion from mine. I agree with Kerry. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It amounts to whatever appeals to you the most is the one you should get. Some like big. Some like small. Some like fancy. Some like plain and utilitarian. If you are looking to resell (heaven forbid), then look at the ones which get the most oos and ahs here on the forum. I like looking at them all but get the ones I want to ride with me down the road.

This is just my opinion..After attending The Blade and seeing lots of quality traditional knives, I have to say that Tony and Reese are a cut above the rest. While others still make a quality knife the stuff that comes out of Wilfred is just the best out there..JUST MY OPINION..I have collected for over 30 years and have yet to see anything as nice as what Tony or Reese make. And if you want an example of what is collectible or desirable, the drawing was proof that EVERYONE wants Bose. Probably 100 to 150 cards at each knife..unreal. Old or new numbered or not..If you get a shot at one don't hesitate. I like them all ..
