The NPM (National Postal Meter) that I have is a Bavaria Forestry Police unit as well, I totally forgot about that until I looked it up in my spreadsheet of CMP purchases.

They were returned to the US Government whenever and the CMP got them in the early 2000s. I picked them up in 2010 when I was flush with cash because I was "between wives."
