Consider from the perspective that it is a heavier workload to offer more and more choices for customers to choose from. In this case, how many varieties of Micarta are available, and how many should be stocked pre-cut and slotted for any given slotted model knife? Maybe somebody wants red-and-blue, somebody else wants black-and-green, etc.

Also, that the shop tries to do some things "special" for the annual or semi-annual sales, while also not pushing back scheduled deliveries on knives customers have ordered.
