I kinda understand about the round version of moose horn, just like elk horn. But a slab version should work fine, similar to what Rudy Ruana did with with his knives. No problem with his elk horn slabs over the years, maybe 50 years without shrinkage. The shop uses other American wildlife horns such as buffalo and musk ox for rounds, but for slabs, I would think it could work. I am not an expert by any means on this subject, but still curious. Many thanks for the replys and info so far.
