My one and only “Fighter”. A Model 15 that I got from Buxton Knives a few years back. It didn’t come with the wrist thong hole originally, so on a trip back to Florida, I dropped by the shop and had them add it:

Captain, thems are fightin' words.

So, here is a customer's new arrival in a stag mounted Model 12-9"-#14G.

AND a "One of One" Model 14-CDT "on steroids", according to the former Authorized Randall Dealer that sold it to me at Blade Show 2022. It started out as a 12-9-#14G at the Shop, but an "uh-oh" (steel flaw) moment turned it into a Model 14 CDT-mounted in resin ivory & N/S "furniture".

here's one of my dad's....he had a bunch Randall's stolen, then hidden inside a wall of a commercial development...they were found about 10 years later, with substantial water damage....his name was engraved on a couple, and the city of Atlanta being a bit smaller at the time....they returned them....

Well her ya’ go. I always like carrying a back-up, if possible. With all the fighting I do I don’t tend to use my ivory as it seems easier to remove the blood from other material. Always helps me to review THE BOOK before, too.

I'm baaack!
Been "on the road" a couple of days. I thought, seeing as how we see so many cool, tricked-out. fighters...it would be nice to appreciate one that's "fairly" basic. Brass butt cap is about it for options.
Stay Sharp...and Happy Fighter Friday!

Hey Cap ... nice one!!

Here's another classic. Stainless only option. I think
this was the 3rd Randall I bought.
Mint, never used/carried and
only been in the sheath once or twice

Good-lookin' stuff getting posted up here, thanks. Here's one of my favorite Bowies, both model and options. The 6 inch "Sportsmans" Bowie" is a little harder to make than all of the others because there is "no choil"...just like in the old days. The blade has to be finished (& sharpened) all the way to the hilt!
This one's in stainless, all tricked brass hardware, Old Yeller handle and a Maurice Johnson sheath.
Stay Sharp, Capt. Chris

No I don't. It is shop etched with a name, but there are numerous examples with the same name from the period, but no way to determine which one it is.

what do you mean by "camera"?

Happy "FIGHTER FRIDAY" members!
Here ya' go...outta' The Captain's "STASH". Sold in the Randall catalog in the 60's, it's a Fairborn, British Commando Dagger (Dirk) and a Johnson's RB, "split-loop" (pancake if you will) black sheath.
Stay Sharp,
Capt. Chris

Another surprise to me.
I like the Fairbairn and Fairbairn-Sykes knife and the association with Randall Made Knives.
My first awareness of the knife was when it was described in the W.E.B. Griffin book Semper Fi, (The Corps, Book 1).
PFC Kenneth J. McCoy defends himself with Baby Fairbairn in a fight with 3 Italian Marines in Shanghai, January 2, 1941.
Great book series and a vivid description of the knife and the damage McCoy does with it during the fight.
