Eh, cops and ambulances have a different set of rules. In some states hybrids or other "alternate" vehicles get free runs in the HOV lanes.

In Texas, there was a time when tractor trailers had different speed limits than passenger cars, and the nighttime speed limit was also different.

But nomatter, we agree that zipping in and out of cars at freeway speeds is dumb as well as illegal (in 49 states, anyway).
