Hi Wayne, No it's a 7.63 Mauser also called the 30 Mauser. In it's day it was considered a .357 Magnum. In his book Col. Fairbairn (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_E._Fairbairn) of the Shanghai Police, said that when his officers went out against someone reported to carry the 7.63 they all opted for body armor.
