The teeth holding the fish on is a great experience. A very legitimate usage of the teeth indeed! I have a bush tool that is designed to be attached to a shorter handle. Mors Kochanski is the “designer” the knife is made by Rod Garcia.

The idea is to have a longer tool to knock down briar/sharp grasses or to possibly get at some high hanging food but the fishing spear is obviously a great idea as well if that’s something available.

Water purification tabs are brilliant but the container aspect, and with a good container boiling is usually okay. Keep ‘em coming!!

Forgot to mention we have these invasive Asian carp that sometimes jump into the boat! Spearing one would be a lot of fun.
